Tax Credits

Double the Impact of Your Charitable Contribution with Missouri Tax Credits and Improve the Lives of Vulnerable Children

Did you know that you can make your charitable dollars stretch further by using Missouri state tax credits for contributions to Great Circle?  Tax credits are available for donations of $1,000 or more to help fund key programs and services benefiting children with autism, behavior and emotional disorders, and developmental delays in our communities and on our campuses. Current projects include education initiatives and classroom expansions, life skills and job coaching support.

Missouri tax credits are easy to use.  You receive a state income tax credit for 50% of the value of your donation.  In addition, you receive both a federal and state deductions on the entire gift amount, which can result in a savings of up to 75% of the value of your donation.  For example, if you make a $1,000 gift to one of Great Circle’s tax credit programs, your net cost may be only $300.

Here is an example for an individual in the 28% federal tax bracket.  Benefits will vary, so please consult your tax advisor to learn how tax credits will work best for you.
